Transform and Age Gracefully

If you were born between 1946 and 1954, you are a Baby Boomer. You know, unlike your parent's generation, that the second half of your life can be better and more satisfying than the first half, although your body is changing. You can learn to ride the waves of life’s physical, mental and emotional changes gracefully. You can stay energetic and do what you want to do. How?

Elemental Jiu-jitsu Class

Learn Real World Self Defense Techniques

Elemental Jiu-jitsu is the result of Grand Master Griffin’s many years of martial arts experience. Students are trained for an assault in the real world, not competition. Every move flows into the next and determines the countering move.

These moves do not rely on your opponent's compliance. Students are taught to shock the assailant before taking them down, thus minimizing the opponents resistance.

Classes offered:
First and Third Tuesdays - 7:15-8:30 PM

Hatha Yoga

Hatha is a general term for Yoga Asana practice, but tends to denote a moderate or gentle pace. All levels are welcome.

Eight gifts others receive when you practice yoga

The practice of yoga makes improvements within us that make us better companions, parents, children and siblings.

Give yourself the gift of yoga and here are eight gifts that others will receive.

My First Yoga Class

MemA rare and precious gift it is when you are allowed to actually witness your own life begin to ascend to a new plane. I was given this gift recently as I was leaving my very first yoga class.

While I am new to yoga as a practice, I have been familiar with the concepts for a while.
