Kundalini Yoga

Yoga as Taught by Yogi Bhajan

Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of awareness. The class sequences are passed down from Yogi Bhajan and include posture, breath, mudra (hand postion), movement and mantra (sound current).

Each class begins with a tune in, breathing exercises, warm ups, then a Yoga set followed by rest time and meditation. Kundalini Yoga is said to strengthen your immune, glandular and nervous systems.

This practice can energize and revitalize the body. It brings an awareness to the mind, body and spirit. Beginners are welcome. Read more

The Fallout of Bad Posture

Poor posture, slouching and slumping cause our bodies to absorb the daily stress of poor body mechanics. These stressors can result in muscle spasms, spinal misalignment and pain.

The discs or cartilage between our vertebrae give our spine the flexibility to perform tasks. Repeated misaligned movements, however, make it easy for our vertebrae to settle into unwanted positions which tug on the muscles. Even small shifts in spinal alignment can cause big pain. Read more

Hatha Yoga

Yoga Postures Taught In an Approachable Way

Hatha Yoga is a nurturing practice of breath and form which creates strength and flexibility. 'Ha-tha' translates as "sun-moon."  Hatha is the general term for yoga asana practice and is the art of bringing balance and unity to body, mind and spirit. All levels are welcome.

Yoga Nidra is a simple way to create physical, mental and emotional balance in your life using easy-to-learn techniques that can be practiced sitting comfortably or lying down.

Yoga Nidra is said to have many beneficial effects on the body and mind. This meditation class promotes body awareness and attention to breathing.

Vinyasa Flow

Learn to Link Poses with Breath

Vinyasa Flow links traditional Hatha postures in a flowing sequence using the breath to guide movement from pose to pose.

This energetic class, appropriate for all levels, increases strength, enhances flexibility and balance and creates an awareness of how breath assists movement.

Gong Bath, Breathing and Meditation

Deepen Your Meditation with Ancient Sound Technology

Each class offers you an opportunity to deepen your meditation practice. You'll begin with light movement, breathing exercises and extended meditations, ending with a Gong Bath. Read more

Yin and Yang

Creating Balance of Effort and Ease

Yin and Yang is an alternating class format. One week will feature a more active, Yang, approach to Hatha Yoga; the next week will feature a more restorative, Yin, approach. This regular Sunday class starts at 9AM.
