Morean Art Center To Display Margie's Work

"The Morean Art Center will dedicate a gallery to Margie's work during the annual members' show starting Friday, September 3rd. Most of the work will be for sale with the receipts going to an annual members' show award to the artist who best steps outside their normal media. We have tried to price the work reasonably so that it will find homes with Margie's friends and admirers. I invite you to visit the website created by our wonderful son-in-law, Brad Hetland. We would like to archive as much of Margie's work as possible. If you have a picture that is not included on the website, we would greatly appreciate a copy."

-Robert Steward

Margie's showing, "Crossing," opens 9/3 at 5:30PM.

Margie (Narayan) Steward left her physical body in the Amrit Vela on March 30. Her spiritual name, Narayan, refers to the aspect of Infinity that relates to water and creativity. She was an accomplished artist and Yogi.

She will be remembered as a vibrant teacher with an immense grasp of the teachings and an ability to impart this wisdom on her students with the greatest of humility. She was full of light and laughter. Her students became her friends and her friends became her students.

Additional information about the showing will be posted here. Post a comment with your email contact if you have a work of Margie's that can be archived. Sat-Nam
