Celebrating Peace in Song
Snatam Kaur returned to Clearwater on her 'Celebrating Peace' Tour on October 1. She is known for her crystalline voice and for bringing ancient mantra's to modern audiences. Most of the songs are done in kirtan, call and response. She encourages audience participation and may even lead the audience through a round of breath of fire, a powerful pranayama from the Kundalini Yoga tradition. GuruGanesha played guitar and Ramesh played percussion.
